The Base Bay is an isolated 5.4-liter bottom compartment measuring 11.8" W x 7.1" D x 3.9" H (30 cm W x 18 cm D x 10 cm H) with direct single-zipper access. It is designed to separate gym clothes, light outerwear, cables, or small personal items from your clean main wardrobe without taking up space in the main compartment.

Engineered for impact protection, The Tech Nest is a dedicated, padded internal section designed to suspend and protect laptops up to 15 inches away from bottom drops (such as the 15" MacBook Air or 14"/15" MacBook Pro devices).

What can I fit inside The Transit Bay?

The Transit Bay is a high-speed, single-zipper top pocket measuring 6.9" H x 8.0" W (17.5 cm H x 20.5 cm W) located on the back of the bag for swift access. It is built specifically for security checkpoints and border access—sized perfectly to hold your passport, smartphone, boarding passes, and small travel documents.

What is The Balance Pod and how does it work?

The Balance Pod is our signature magnetic utility and 3-1-1 liquids module. Powered by Fidlock magnetic technology, it snaps securely into place inside the backpack and releases with an intentional pull. Every Balance 24 Backpack includes two (2) Balance Pods, allowing you to instantly detach your liquids, tech accessories, or daily essentials without unpacking your entire bag.

Does my backpack come with any accessories?

Yes. Every Balance 24 Backpack includes a custom dust cover that doubles as a travel laundry bag—so you can separate worn clothes in your Garment Bay on the return flight without carrying extra gear.

We ship exclusively within the United States. We offer free standard shipping on all orders over $100.

 

Returns & The 30-Day In-Home Trial

What is your 30-Day In-Home Trial policy?

​

We want you to evaluate your gear with complete confidence. You have 30 days from the delivery date to test the bag's organization in your home. Pack your laptop into The Tech Nest, arrange your clothes in The Garment Bay, and test the fit. To be eligible for a return, items must remain unused outdoors, with all original tags attached, and include all modular components (including both included Balance Pods) and original packaging. Pieces showing street wear, scuffs, or outdoor usage cannot be accepted.

How do return fees work?

​

• Store Credit / Ecosystem Exchange: Free. Return shipping and handling fees are completely waived when you opt for store credit, which can be used on-site for any of our current or future products.

• Refund to Original Payment Method: A $15 processing and return shipping fee will be deducted from your final refund total.

What happens to The Balance Journal if I return my order?

​

If you were one of the first 100 buyers and received The Balance Journal, it is yours to keep as our thank you for trying Balance Luggage, even if you decide to return the backpack during your 30-day trial.

Every Balance 24 Backpack is backed by The 3-Year Foundation Guarantee. This covers manufacturing defects in materials and craftsmanship—including zippers, structural seams, and magnetic hardware failures—for three full years from your delivery date.
